Sarl Baume 19th Century 3, 90 Carats Diamonds Bouquet Silver 18 Karat Yellow Gold Brooch

Brooch in silver and 18 karat yellow gold.

Magnificent antique brooch, it represents a bouquet of flowers and its leaves moved and set with antique- cut diamonds.

In the center 2 antique cushion-cut diamonds of more important size are set with descended claws.

The attachment system is a pin with a safety pump.

Total weight of the 2 main diamonds : 1 carat approximately.

Total weight of the other diamonds : 2.90 carats approximately.

Length : 5,5 cm approximately, height : 4 cm approximately, thickness : 15 mm approximately.

Total weight of the jewel : 22 g approximately.

Antique jewel – Work of the second half of the XIXth century.

Our opinion : the fastening system was added later on this diamond pattern which was part of a much more important set, a small screw thread still present at the back testifies to it.
